The Top Technology Tools for Business Conferences

Spring is business conference season – which means that you need the right technology tools to manage your travel details, remember your packing list, and stay social at the events. How can you achieve your conference goals? The OXO Digital Organizing team explains below.

How to Go Digital at Business Conferences 


Plan Ahead

First, plan ahead by manage your general travel information with Google Trips. This free app for iOS and Android will organize your plane tickets and hotel reservations and make personalized recommendations for restaurants and extracurricular activities based on your Google history. If you’ll spend some time overseas or offline, have no fear – you can download everything into your phone before you leave, including maps and walking directions.

Next, print or download your event material. Many conferences are now going paperless, so don’t assume that you’ll receive materials on site. Check with your event’s website to see if you will need to download or print the items ahead of time and plan accordingly. Also, make sure to have your devices charged and bring a portable charger to keep your phone or tablet juiced up all day.

Finally, never forget your dress heels or presentation notes again with a dedicated packing app like PackPoint. This travel companion is available in a variety of languages and helps you pack based on where you’re going and what you’re doing there.
