Remembering Good Days with Dad… the Best Gift to Give!

Father’s Day is just around the corner and some of you may still be on the search for that perfect gift. When Father’s Day rolls around, time and time again my dad says, “I don’t need anything”. But of course, that doesn’t actually mean he doesn’t want anything. So while I’m at the mall purchasing another tie to add to his collection, I can’t help but brainstorm gifts that are more personal. I wanted to get him the perfect gift, but I also wanted to share something memorable. Gifts are a great way of showing your loved ones they’re appreciated, and those heartfelt gifts often come in the form of sweet memories. Memories like the first time he taught me to ride my bike and the time he dropped me off at my dorm for my freshman year of college are my most treasured.

I went home and immediately started digging through old photos boxes to find some of my dad and me. After laughing hysterically and tearing up a bit, I decided they would be a perfect add-on to his gift. Something as simple as a few old pictures made me feel so happy and to be able to share those with him… that’s priceless. To all the dads out there, Happy Father’s Day.
